shoes and aprons

I cleaned out under my desk today. I found these shoes.

My friend, Joanne, was sitting there and she started to laugh. She said it was like a stranger left their shoes under my desk because these are not something I would wear today. She said I don't even have clothes to wear with shoes like these, which I don't. I managed to peddle them to a fellow teacher who was delighted to get them.

I am on an apron kick. Here are two more aprons that I bought from my new friend, Katy, in Georgia.

The top one is a Valentine's Day apron and the bottom one is a St. Patrick's Day apron. Mom sent me an apron for the 4th of July so I'm pretty much set although I wouldn't bet that I stop collecting them. They are so cool. Today, I spent an hour looking them over and trying them on. Then I got out my old (I should say vintage) table linens and looked at them. One belonged to Grandma Josie and the others belonged to Grandma Elsie. Ah, such fun.

Regis and I are going out for a quiet dinner. We don't have a lot of plans for the weekend but I know we'll be busy having fun. It's what we do best.
