back from the road trip
Betty and I spent some time over the last few days motoring to southwestern Minnesota to visit my mom. I love the prairie in the fall...corn fields being combined, gray skies, vast flatness. We had a wonderful time with my mom. We had some wine, some laughs, told a lot of stories. We stopped to see the Milford Monument, went through the drive-up at Culver's (best fast food burgers), and had lots of time to talk. It was a magical autumn trip.
